Enter The Arena
Gratitude Over Grumbling
Tomorrow you enter the arena…
If your like most of us, this is where you spend most of your time.
This is the YOUR mission field.
This is where, YOU, get to fight back the darkness!!!
One of the biggest ways I fail at work is the C word… Not Crack, Complaining.
Have you ever been around a constant complainer? Its hard.
For myself, I know that when I am around someone who is ALWAYS complaining, I become very unmotivated. I am no longer pushing myself to be excellent and represent the Kingdom well, I am negative, depressing, and not a great worker.
That doesn’t sound like someone who has the joy from the Father…
That doesn’t even sound like someone I want to be around, much less want what they have…
Unfortunately, there are a lot of people like me in the workplace. They come to work moping. Head down, not happy to be there, and they bring down everyone around me, I mean, them. lol
But what if Christians were different?
Is this NOT our calling?
What I were different?
What if instead of thinking about how bad we wanted to be doing something else, we stayed on mission.
What if instead of grumbling about this or that, we focused on what we were grateful for?
14 Do all things without grumbling or disputing, 15 that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, 16 holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.
Philippians 2:14–16
All things include work
We cannot shine as lights in the world, if we are as dark as the world.
This is your mission, whether you choose to accept it or not…
Represent The Gospel of Jesus Christ
Represent The Kingdom
Represent The King
