Position and The Role It Plays
Tomorrow you enter the arena…
If your like most of us, this is where you spend most of your time.
This is the YOUR mission field.
This is where, YOU, get to fight back the darkness!!!
Where do they turn when the pieces fall?
Who do they ask when they have spiritual questions?
And how do we position ourselves to be in the right position to point them to Jesus?
The answer is more simple than you may think it is. So here it goes. . .
They need two things…
They need to know you care.
They need to see the connection between you and Jesus.
Love them. Actually love them. Don't view them as projects. Have deep conversations, offer them help when something goes wrong, and maybe buy them lunch when you have it and they don't.
When they know you care about them as people, then they know that you want what is best for them. And that might be enough to open their heart.
Do you want them to see the connection between you and Jesus?
Then show it. Not by telling people what not to do, but by showing them the Fruit of the Spirit. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self control.
When they are hurting, offer to pray for them. Right there on the spot, or take requests. .and bring their problems before a good and powerful King.
When the pieces fall, then they will turn to the one who cared, when that someone is a praying person, if they are open to it, you can introduce them to Jesus.
This is your mission, whether you choose to accept it or not…
