You might have heard it said that the church is the locker room, if that is the case, then life is the arena.

A big portion of your time in the arena is spent at work, sometimes too much.

We put in minimum of 40 hr weeks and then there is overtime. Many people spend the majority of their life working long and late hours in the name of paying bills, supporting the family, and saving for the future.

None of those things are bad. Money is important. Supporting the family is a biblical mandate. Saving for the future is responsible.

That said, if you are finding your value in your bank account, or basing your security on how much you make or what your job title is, than you're missing the point.

We cannot live our lives as if we are King of it. Our security is found in eternity with King Jesus.

Your job title cannot save you

Your bank account doesn't define you

You were not made to build your own kingdom.

You were created by The Eternal God,

to have an eternal mindset, to build your King’s Eternal Kingdom

You have lived on the earth in luxury and in self-indulgence. You have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter.
