“I'm at work, I don't come here to make friends. I come to work to make money”

I have heard this over and over, and while there is a good amount of truth in it, some of my favorite people I've met at work.

Let's face it, You are at work more than you are at home most of the time. Which means you will spend more time with the people you work with than your own family.

Be a good friend to the people you work with.

As a Christian you are to be on mission. And a BIG part of that mission is sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. The gospel is a relational thing. From being a disciple to discipling someone else, relationships matter.

Why?

Because nobody is going to care how much you know about the Bible if they don't know that they care about them

So walk with people through the hard things. Laugh with people. Show them the kind of love that Jesus showed you. I bet you have a hard time doing that without becoming friends anyway.
